Hi friends,
Can anyone tell me what is SCHID in CA-7. Why we need to run jobs in different SCHID. |

Schedule ID is a number (1-255) used to identify a scheduling behaviour. This will allow you to schedule the same job in different ways.
Example: Job A id=1 is a daily job, Job A id=2 is A weekly job. |

SCHID is using to schedule the same job at the different times. We are using SCHID as ID in the JCL too. Example, especially it is useful for backup jobs. The backup job must run different times in a week. It runs as a daily for incremental back up and it runs as a weekend for full backup. The same backup job can get both incremental and full backup by using #JI,ID=x (JI: Job Include or JE: Job Exclude) scheduling utility in the same JCL. |

i read a doc said that some Scheduling standards, like 001 - Manually DEMANDed where no other SCHID is applicable, or 011 - Every Monday.
are these rules designed by CA or some shop? |
