Hi there !

IBM education center offers several assembler-courses for programmers ans system-programmers. Have a look at the web.

Certification isn't it at all, still knowledge is it.

From what I've been able to tell, IBM doesn't offer any certifications for any programming languages. I guess they leave that up to other companies such as Brainbench.

Hi !

That's right Kevin. They don't offer a real certifications according to ISO or DIN norm. But they have excellent courses in assembler and they will give a internal IBM certification-paper of the course to you.

Nearly the same is the company you mentioned doing. It seams to be an idividual Brainbench-certification. Please correct me if i'm wrong.

I had a quick look at Brainbench on the web. I think i will spend 50,-$
for getting the test they mentioned, then spend an lazy weekend on doing it, and then getting a nice colourful dokument that i could deposit where all
my other certificates are.

Regards, UmeySan
