Is there a way to stop the automatically watching of topics when you reply to a thread? I really would rather not get an email every time someone posts in a thread that I've posted in. I know I can click the link that stops watching a topic, but I'd rather just not watch them at all. I usually click the Your posts link anyway to see what is going on in threads I've posted in.

There is a feature available in the profile, but it was disabled after a long research to make this forum active.

Because there is no meaning of answering your questions with out your attention.

It's not the answering of my questions that I'm concerned about. Ok, how about a checkbox that I can uncheck when I post, something that would determine then whether to watch the topic or not? You could set it to default to watch, uncheck the box to not watch?

It's that or the spam filter...

Your idea is Good. But already we have this facility to stop watching the topic. Have you tried this?

Yes, after I post, I can go and click the stop watching this topic. I was just looking for something a little easier. I guess I would think that you could set the option back up in the profile, then make it so it defaults to watch all topics you post in, but if we want to disable it we should be able to. I normally check in here daily, at least through the week.

I understand your desire to make the forum more active and remind people to come back and check on things. A suggestion for that would be a newsletter perhaps. Once a month it would be easy to create a newsletter with some of the recently asked questions and answers that could go out to all users you have email addresses for. That would also remind them to come back and would be quite informative as well. I would be glad to do some of the legwork on that if you would like that idea.

No, you can access this facility while posting the topic.
