how to compress a file to .SIT format

Hi ,
I need to compress a mainframe dataset to a .sit format so it can be
FTP to a third party vendor .

Can anyone please help me figure out how to compress the data in the .sit format .

what will the jcl command be?

My best guess is that you need to purchase the StuffIt software and install it on a supported server platform.
