What is SCL generation while retrieving a module frm endevor

Hi Frnds,

Could you tell me what is SCL generation while retrieving a module from endevor.

This SCL will generate when we cast a package in endevor to move elements from one stage to other upper stage.

When u cast a package SCL will generate.

Its like a report ,it shows warnings ,erros if any and also the what are all the elements u r moving to other uppper stage.

Form this SCL we can correct the erros and we can cast succesuffly.

SCL -Source cotrol language ;which was used internally by endevour.Its not really required to you to understand this as Endevor will create this SCL for you in scenarios like MOVE,UPDATE,CREATE PACKAGE,CAST of etc ;elements when done using the Panels of Endevor.

One more thing to note is Endevor set up would be different on diffrent shops with diffrent regions and procedures in place.Better get the Endevor manual from the shop where you are working.
