Can someone please tell me the diff. between IBM(Mainframe) COBOL
and ANSI COBOL used on HP3000 Platform.

ps: Is ANSI COBOL in anyway related or used with powerhouse cognos??

IBM has made hundreds of modifications to is COBOL over and above the ANSI Standard.
