in cics in use dark keyword for not displaying the password
but my requirement is to display like *******(like we generally do) ,how to achieve this,

ur question was good!!!!!!!!!!


one thing u can do that recieve the pasword to some variable thru recieve map edit that variable and then send it to the map

i think this must work if not i am sorri for that

If you are using this method, then while typing the password, we will not get '*' right?
