Hi,

Could you please tell me the IMS DB Program compilation process.
How it will interact with DB. Is there any process like DB2 Program precompilation process.

Hi,

As far as i know it is more or like a normal Compile JCL with IMS Stuff added in SYSLIB..... Nothing like DB2 which has a Precompilation Stuff.

I think you first need to create a PSB, get it generated by DBA, then get a ACBGEN done for your program and then do a normal compile of the program.

After that you can run it using DFSRRC00
