Unit testing
It is easy and simple.usually done in developer level.whatever module is coded by the programmer ,the same is tested with different inputs by himself for checking how far it is to the actual output.
System Integration testing
It is like a chain reaction.output of one module will be the input for next module like that more modules clubbed together to test its actual functionality.

Let me extend the question clear.In Mainframe environment we do changes in the cobol pgm & then how to do unit testing of that one with test data.
