This command is used to recall migrated datasets. You can also use the HREC alias to achieve the same.

Hi

After the datasets have been displayed in 3.4 option, incase many of the datasets have been migrated, to recall the migrated datsets at dataset level, can we do it for all PDS's at command level icon_confused.gif

No... as far as I know...

We have to issue one HRECALL for each migrated dataset.

Faster is to try instead of questionning and waiting replies!

icon_neutral.gif More or less true. But you can use HRECALL in batch mode with generic data. So one HRECALL for multiple data sets. icon_wink.gif

I would have seen each HRECALL for each migrated dataset in batch mode.

Did you mean this?
Code:
HRECALL GNANAS.OLD.*

Sorry, I don't have personal datasets to test this.

HRECALL GNANAS.OLD.* will work

That's the reason for "more or less". You pass only one command but in fact - yes - every data set is recalled with "one" HRECALL command.

Just a question of words.

Cheers
Pierre
