Hi,

How to pass parameters from program (cobol, PL/1, etc) to JCL ?

Hi Angelalpe,

The most common way is to write the information (parameters) in to one (or more) file, that, inturn can be referenced by the other steps in the JCL.

Or you can even use the special registers like RETURN-CODE etc. but they'll serve only the pre-defined purpose.
