What are the diffrerence between working storage and local storage sections? Could any one describe with an example please.

sorry to say superk i didn't get any information with the link what u have provided. Though the topic discussed almost 1 yr back, but i joined just few days back so i was going thru it. In the link provided by you conatins information how the Working storage varibale acts and all.Apart from that it is being mentioned that
"A separate copy of LOCAL-STORAGE data is allocated for each call of a program or invocation of a method, and is freed on return from the program or method. "
and with working storage varibale even, when control return back then also all the memory get deallocated.isn't both are the same.
and at the same time if you don't mind can you plz tell me where
LOCAL-STORAGE is used, i mean which division and what is the purpose behind that. |
