Hi all,
There are 4 steps in the JCL and i got a abend in the second step.Whether there is a chance of executing the further steps ?. If yes , how?.Please help. |

I think the usage of COND parameter will help our cause.
COND=EVEN or COND=ONLY.
If EVEN is specifies the step will execute if the previous steps have abended or not.
IF ONLY is specified the steop will eecute only if any of the previous steps have abended. |

It depends on whether you want the third step to be executed only if the second step abends(that is second step and third steps are alternatives but both can not run) or even if the second abends or not third should execute.
I feel your requirement is to run third even if second fails , so you should go for EVEN as COND parameter |
