what is difference between newc and pharse in cemt set prog() .

Hi Gandham,

Do you mean to ask the difference between newcopy and PHASEIN.

Both are almost same. The only difference is PHASEIN command will work only if the current transaction gets complete(i.e only if usecount become zero) . But newcopy makes the currently running one disabled. So people prefer PHASEIN.

newcopy let you take the new copy of the program in cics region even if the laod module date and symbolic map date is different as if you try with cntl then it gives the problem.
