I have a input file which contains a comp and comp-3 variable..
Please let me how to prepare test data for those variables..

Please come back with some more detail, and what your confusion is on builing test data. What are the possible values for these fields?

| I think I understand your problem. Are you having problem in entering values into the input file having binary fields, If so then you should edit the data set in File aid and supply the copybook and directly enter the values in respective fields, In case you do not have File aid , you should supply the fields in hex format overstamping the sign on the last digit if field is COMP or fill in each half byte if COMP-3 and supply 'C' in the last nibble if field is positive and 'D' if negative.. |
