Check for Amode/Rmode in your lin-edit options

Check the input output file attributes to resolve it.
Try to locate PSW or BLW of the failing instruction from the dump,
go to endevor listing and see the instruction at that BLW.

hi frnd,
S0C4 is Protection Exception/Storage Violation.
Possiblity is:
>> U r trying to access storage not available to the program.
>>It Can be caused by a subscripting error or reading/writing a file that isn?t open.
So according to ur program try it plz. |

Hi,
If yours is a cobol+db2 program, will get soc4 when you don't have authorization to access db2 tables
