hi
i have been given the task of printing all the bms maps for a cics site - any suggestions of how to automate this task
to further complicate the task - there is a vsam file that contains the default values for each map by user group
In CICS if you send the map from the this file area you get the map populated with default values [depending on the user group]
Been many years since I printed a screen in CICS ... should i use SPOOL
commands ?
cheers

For what i know so far, you can not get exactly what you see on mainframe printers. I suggest that if you are using Telnet or powerterm or similar emulators, you write a macro for opening the map on your screen and do a windows Print Screen and paste it to new image.
Repeat teh macro for as many maps and i guess you will have your images ready to print. |
