S0C7 is runtime abend or compile time abend

HI,
i am new to the forum can anybody tell whether soc7 is runtime abend or compiletime abend.and how to solve it

Hi Nikitha,

Well As for S0c7, its a run time error (abend).
To solve it you have two options :-
1. IF u use abendaid :- then get the BLW location. Search that BLW in you compilation listing. this will give you the field for error.
2 Else go to SYSOUT. Pick up offset value. next in compile listing search hexloc to get the location. which will give you the line number...
