| I'm not sure about your question, but will take a quess that you have created a dataset and somehow it has an SMS management class of scratch which you know will cause the dataset to be deleted. If that is your question, I would talk with your storage management person and ask them to change the management class for the dataset. This type change requires a storage manager's authority level.
