Hi All,
Can some one help me with File status codes given by Easytrieve while reading VSAM files.
Presently I am trying to read a VSAM file with key-length as 43 and it is giving me status code of 16.

| Hi Prem, Can you specify whether you are doing a sequential, random or dynamic read? |

Hi Pollyannaish,
if you saw the return code 16, that means you can not update VSAM file because your EZT was installed without this function.
Nevermind, you can put the record into a sequential file and then repro to a VSAM file. it's not diffcult by writing EZT and a smart programmer like you  |
