every time i use 3.4 to edit or view a member, the short message will show as "Format not Found", and after i press F1, the long message says "the specified format does not exist ", and the system will block me to edit or view the member.

i'm a freshman to the mainframe and ISPF, i think maybe there is something wrong with my setting, bu i can't find the actual reason for this problem, so can some one tell me how to fix this problem, thank a lot icon_smile.gif

This happens when the type of dataset that you have created is of format "U". Please check... In such a case you maynot be able to open it.

Thanks
