How to improve the performance of JCL

can any body tell me how to improve performance of jcl,that means if a job takes 5 days to execute, it should execute with in 3 days like that

There are lots of ways to improve performance depending on precisely what your JCL is doing. All those methods can not be listed here. Please search in google with "Performance Tuning" and you will get lot of links.
