how to find out which version of PL/1 we are using , if more than one ways please give me the details.

First, maybe more than one version can be installed.
Either compile a program and see your PL/I listing, the version is indicated.
Or ask to your support team ( mvs team, procurement, ... )
Or check some libraries : something with IEL310*.* , IEL340.* .....
