Hi all,
I want to check the records in a VSAM file.
How to see the data records in the VSAM file.
It is a production file.
what will be the error i may get if i do not have access to read the file.

hi,
just give print ch (/) in your dataset line......u can view the
records in it...... |

hey,
there is a TSO cmd, to view VSAM files.I dont know whether it will work in ur shop,but it worked fine in my training center(maples esm)
TSO DITTO
after executing this cmd,it will prompt u with a screen asking for the VSAM file.after specifying the VSAM file, u can browse/edit etc like a PS file
