Hi,

Reorg and Runstats: Reorg is used to ornaize the memory space and put all the data in a perticular manner so that data accessing will be easy and also to reduce the wastage of memory..

Run stats is used to store the statistics of which stored where and stuff in the DB2 catalog...

Runstats is a job when we organize the date we run the Runstats to store the new memory location where the data is stored...If we dont run the runstats also DB2will work But the performace will be low..

Cheers,
Jag
