Hi..

I have a jcl containg 5
Code:
     //job
    //step1 exec pgm=test
    //dd1 dd dsn=app.ks94431.ps,disp=(new,pass,delete)
    //step2 exec pgm=test1
    //step3 exec pgm=test2
    //step4 exec pgm=test3
    //step5 exec pgm=test4


after successful run of the above job.
what wil happend to the dataset app.ks94431.ps?

Pls let me know the status of the dataset after the successful run of the job..
Whether deleted or catlg?

After successful completion of the job this dataset would not be catalogged. It would be available within the job.

hy kalaignar_S,

your file is not deleted,
therefore exists, but uncatalogued.

use DISP=(NEW,CATLG,DELETE)
if it is catalogued, all next steps can refer to it.
