Hi
Any one please tell me how to compare two datasets of same structure (Actually they are extracts of same file taken at particular interval) and and report the new records and changed records in a new dataset.
Regards

hy vasanthanc,
try first in online.
go to ispf option 3.12 (SuperC) or 3.13 (SuperCE),
fill the panel with the data you need and let it run
in batch. therefore you will have a perfect job example...

Hi Martin9
But I need to schedule the comparison job to run monthly. Can you tell me how to do that? |

hy vasanthanc,
let generate SuperC this job for you,
if you have it at the end, submit it.
if you need this for each month once,
maybe you have a scheduling system,
which will do this at a specific date/time point.
if you cannot access any scheduler,
submit it manual, therefore you have your job
stored in one of your user datasets.
