HI,
Elips is an application like ISPF, which is used to Browse,View and Edit all the elements added to CA-librarian. These elements cannot be accessed using ISPF.

hy shashank.dreams,

ca-librarian is an editor like ispf/pdf, but it defines
itself. therefore it has its own internal structure.
if you look at the file's definition, it is an sequential
dataset. only ca-librarian can access this data.
you have features like history, archiving a.s.o.
elips is just the fastpath command to invoke the editor.
but you can access the data also in batch (SUBSYS=LAM).
